Every child should have presents to open on Christmas day, this is a vision both shared by Kindfulness Coffee Club and all members here at The Sovini Group.
Back in 2020, Kindfulness Coffee Club launched their ‘Adopt a Gingerbread’ project which supports local children across Sefton, who are vulnerable and at risk of not receiving any gifts for Christmas.
Supported by Amianto Services and One Vision Housing’s Community Development Fund, the money raised has been used to provide 150 Christmas parcels. Our team were keen to get involved and help spread some festive cheer by volunteering their time to pack the parcels, each containing essential items such as PJ’s, socks, toiletries, and toys.
All families have been referred from health professionals and may not have met the criteria to qualify for support or they may have missed registration deadlines. This project ensures no child falls through the cracks of support and provides guarantees they will have a gift to open on Christmas day.
Tony Loughran, Managing Director at Amianto Services said;
“Amianto Services are proud to sponsor this initiative that will ensure no child is forgotten about this Christmas. We understand that this time of year can be challenging for many. That’s why as part of The Sovini Group’s Big Community Christmas, we are passionate about having a positive lasting impact on our customers and communities across the North West this festive season.”
